The Voice is back for its milestone 30th season, and the red chairs have two new faces. Queen Latifah and Riley Green make their coaching debuts alongside returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine as the Blind Auditions begin. Take a look at photos from Season 30 Episodes 1 and 2 below.
Hosted by Carson Daly, the four-time Emmy Award-winning competition series opens a three-night premiere event on Monday, September 21 at 8/7c on NBC. The event continues Tuesday, September 22 and Wednesday, September 23, with all episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
Queen Latifah and Riley Green Join the Red Chairs
Season 30 brings a particularly lively mix of coaching experience to the panel. Clarkson and Levine know the show’s rhythms well, while Queen Latifah and Riley Green enter the competition for the first time, each looking to build a team of 12 artists. As always, the Blind Auditions ask the coaches to make their first decisions based only on what they hear—not who is standing onstage.
That dynamic is getting one new wrinkle this season. The “First In Button” gives the first coach to turn in a multi-chair moment a chance to press again before the artist chooses and claim that singer for their team. Each coach can use the advantage only once, so it should add a little extra strategy to the early scramble for standout voices.
What’s New in The Voice Season 30?
After the Blind Auditions, the competition moves through the Battle Rounds, Cut Week and the Live Performance Shows. Each coach will bring in a superstar Battle Advisor and has one Steal available during the Battles.
Cut Week raises the stakes with the show’s biggest elimination yet: every coach sends two artists straight to the Live Shows, while five more compete for one remaining place on the team. America will then vote one additional artist into the Lives, creating a Top 13. Starting with Cut Week, viewers can vote by SMS and TikTok, and real-time voting returns once the Live Shows begin.

The Voice Season 30 premieres Monday, September 21, 2026, at 8/7c on NBC. The three-night premiere continues Tuesday, September 22 and Wednesday, September 23. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
