HBO Max has released the official promo and photos for Stuart Fails to Save the Universe Season 1 Episode 5, “Spoiler: Gary Works for UPS,” giving fans a first look at the next stop in Stuart Bloom’s increasingly chaotic attempt to put the universe back together.
The new episode premieres Thursday, August 20, 2026, with Kevin Sussman returning as Stuart alongside Lauren Lapkus as Denise, Brian Posehn as Bert Kibbler and John Ross Bowie as Barry Kripke.
As Stuart Fails to Save the Universe moves into the second half of its 10-episode first season — with HBO Max already renewing the series for Season 2 — Stuart and his friends remain stuck dealing with the consequences of the multiverse disaster he accidentally helped create.
And then there’s that title.
After “Spoiler: Gary Dies,” “Spoiler: Bert Is Magic,” “Spoiler: Zack’s in This One” and “Spoiler: Stuart Makes a Wallet,” Episode 5 gives us the wonderfully specific “Spoiler: Gary Works for UPS.” Whatever that means for Stuart and company, the promo offers our first glimpse at what’s coming next.
