The end is coming for Yellowjackets.
Paramount+ has announced that the Emmy-nominated drama will return for its fourth and final season on Friday, November 20, while releasing a new teaser offering the first look at the beginning of the end for the survivors.
The final season finds the past and present closing in once again as the survivors race to bury their sins before rescue arrives. Meanwhile, an old flame comes roaring back into town with plans of her own — and Paramount+ is already warning that not every homecoming will be a joyous one.
After three seasons of shifting between the team’s increasingly brutal struggle for survival in the wilderness and the complicated lives they’ve built nearly 25 years later, Season 4 will bring both sides of the Yellowjackets story toward their conclusion.

What Is Yellowjackets Season 4 About?
Yellowjackets follows a high school girls soccer team whose plane crashes deep in the northern wilderness, leaving the survivors stranded and gradually pushing the once-thriving team toward increasingly savage divisions.
At the same time, the series follows the survivors nearly 25 years later as the secrets, trauma and consequences of what happened in the wilderness continue to shape their adult lives.
Season 4 raises the stakes on both timelines as the survivors attempt to bury their sins before rescue arrives and a complicated homecoming threatens to reopen old wounds.
With Paramount+ now confirming this will be the final season, the remaining episodes will also have the considerable task of resolving mysteries the series has been building since its 2021 premiere.
Who Is Returning for Yellowjackets Season 4?
Melanie Lynskey returns for the final season alongside Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya and Jenna Burgess.
Two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank also stars in Season 4.
Yellowjackets was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, who serve as showrunners and executive producers. Drew Comins, Jonathan Lisco, Jeff W. Byrd, Sarah L. Thompson, Ameni Rozsa and Julia Bicknell also executive produce.
The series is produced for SHOWTIME by Lionsgate Television.
