The Hunting Wives Season 2 Is Coming This Thanksgiving — See the First Photos

It’s almost hunting season again.

Netflix has announced that The Hunting Wives Season 2 will premiere Thursday, November 26, bringing Sophie and Margo back to Maple Brook for another round of secrets, betrayals and increasingly dangerous Southern drama.

The streamer also released a new collection of first-look photos from the eight-episode second season, offering an early glimpse at Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman’s return following the explosive events of the Season 1 finale.

After becoming one of Netflix’s breakout dramas, The Hunting Wives is heading into Season 2 with much of its original ensemble returning, while John Stamos, Dale Dickey, Cam Gigandet, Kim Matula and Alex FitzAlan join the cast as new characters entering the increasingly messy world surrounding Sophie and Margo.

When Does The Hunting Wives Season 2 Premiere?

The Hunting Wives Season 2 premieres Thursday, November 26 on Netflix.

Netflix confirmed the Thanksgiving Day premiere alongside the first official photos from the new season.

The second season will consist of eight episodes and continue the story beyond the events of May Cobb’s novel, with the Season 1 finale serving as the jumping-off point for an original continuation.

What Is The Hunting Wives Season 2 About?

Season 2 returns viewers to Maple Brook, Texas, where the relationship between Sophie and Margo remains at the center of the increasingly dangerous drama.

The first season left behind more than enough secrets, murder and unfinished business to complicate their lives, and the new episodes will push the characters into fresh territory rather than simply retelling material from the original novel.

Netflix is teasing another season filled with chaos as the women of Maple Brook deal with the consequences of everything that happened during the first season.

Who Is Returning for The Hunting Wives Season 2?

Brittany Snow returns as Sophie alongside Malin Åkerman as Margo, with much of the original ensemble coming back for Season 2.

The returning cast also includes Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier and Karen Rodriguez.

Season 2 will also introduce several new characters to the increasingly complicated world of Maple Brook.

John Stamos joins the cast as Chase Brylan, while Dale Dickey will play Zelda Moffitt and Cam Gigandet will appear as Gentle John Moffitt.

Kim Matula joins Season 2 as Nadia Kelly, with Alex FitzAlan playing Lincoln Trout.

Rebecca Cutter returns as showrunner, writer and executive producer.
