With the Blind Auditions underway, each performance gives the coaches another chance to turn a chair—and another reason to compete when more than one of them wants the same singer. The season’s new First-In Button adds an extra wrinkle: when coaches turn at the same time, the first to turn can use the button to claim that artist before the artist makes a choice. Each coach can use it only once.
Season 30 Blind Auditions Continue
Queen Latifah and Riley Green are making their first appearances as coaches this season alongside returning coaches Clarkson and Levine. Carson Daly hosts as the singers try to earn a place on one of their teams.
