The Gilded Age Season 4 Episode 2 photos bring Bertha Russell home from England in “You Won’t Hear Me Beg.” The new episode premieres Sunday, November 8, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and streams on HBO Max. The first look puts Carrie Coon and Morgan Spector together again as Bertha and George, and their reunion looks anything but warm.
The photos also show Bertha at a formal gathering with Enid van Rhijn (Kelley Curran) and Mrs. Astor (Donna Murphy). Enid once worked for Bertha as her lady’s maid. Now that she’s married to Oscar, they meet under very different circumstances. Another still pairs George with his son Larry (Harry Richardson), while the gallery leaves Larry and Marian’s (Louisa Jacobson) next conversation under wraps.
In Newport, Peggy Scott (Denée Benton) finds that her ambitions as a writer don’t sit easily with the people around her. HBO’s stills feature Benton alongside Audra McDonald and Jessica Frances Dukes, with Phylicia Rashad also pictured. Back in New York, Agnes van Rhijn (Christine Baranski) agrees to an interview despite her reservations. Cynthia Nixon returns as Agnes’s sister, Ada.
