The Blacklist Season 2 Episode 5, “The Front,” sends Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) and the FBI task force after an eco-terrorist cell searching for a potentially devastating biological weapon.
Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix) pursue the group as the threat grows, while Liz also attempts to shake the mysterious guardian who has been watching her. Red, meanwhile, uses his own methods to pursue someone with a deeply personal connection to him.
This episode of The Blacklist also features Amir Arison as Aram Mojtabai and Mozhan Marnò as Samar Navabi, with Michael Laurence appearing as eco-terrorist Maddox Beck and Scottie Thompson as Zoe D’Antonio.
“The Front” originally aired October 20, 2014 on NBC. The story was written by Adam Sussman, with a teleplay by Jim Campolongo and Sussman. Steven A. Adelson directed the episode.
