Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 1 Photos: Circle of Life

Slow Horses returns for Season 6 with “Circle of Life,” premiering September 16, 2026, on Apple TV. The season premiere finds River Cartwright preparing for his grandfather’s funeral while Jackson Lamb investigates the death of a former Slow Horse.

Jack Lowden returns as River alongside Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, with Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner and Saskia Reeves as Catherine Standish. Season 6 also brings Olivia Cooke back as Sidonie “Sid” Baker after her long absence from Slough House.

The new season adapts Joe Country and Slough House, the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron’s book series. This time, the Slow Horses find themselves on the run as Taverner pulls the team into a dangerous game of retaliation and revenge.

When Does Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 1 Premiere?

Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 1, “Circle of Life,” premieres Wednesday, September 16, 2026, on Apple TV.

The six-episode season will release one new episode each Wednesday, with the Season 6 finale arriving October 21.
