Dancing with the Stars Season 35 Episode 1, “Premiere: Night One,” kicks off a special two-night season premiere as the first eight celebrity-pro couples make their ballroom debuts.
The opening night belongs to the male celebrities, with each contestant performing to a No. 1 song from the year he was born. Tyler Cameron, Harry Shum Jr., Taylor Hanson, Jackson Olson, Guillermo Rodriguez, Ezra Frech, Conner Leavitt and Connor Wood take the floor with their professional partners, and one celebrity will be eliminated at the end of the episode.
Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough return as co-hosts for Season 35, with Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough back at the judges’ desk.

“Premiere: Night One” features Tyler Cameron with Sharna Burgess, Harry Shum Jr. with Jenna Johnson, Taylor Hanson with Britt Stewart, Jackson Olson with Emma Slater, Guillermo Rodriguez with Witney Carson, Paralympian Ezra Frech with Daniella Karagach, Conner Leavitt with Adele Zaikman and Connor Wood with Rylee Arnold.
The eight couples will perform a mix of tango, cha cha, quickstep and salsa routines before the judges’ scores and viewer votes help determine the first elimination of Season 35.

Dancing with the Stars Season 35 premiered Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 8:00–10:00 p.m. EDT on ABC and Disney+ with “Premiere: Night One.” The second half of the two-night premiere, “Premiere: Night Two,” airs Wednesday, September 16, from 8:00–10:00 p.m. EDT.
Episodes are available to stream the following day on Hulu. After the two-night premiere event, Dancing with the Stars returns to its regular Tuesday schedule on ABC.
