Netflix has set a December 3, 2026 premiere date for its new Pride and Prejudice series, while revealing new first-look character photos featuring Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet, Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy, Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet and more of Jane Austen’s familiar characters.
Writer and executive producer Dolly Alderton unveiled the new photos during the Jane Austen Festival in Bath, England, offering the latest look at Netflix’s six-part adaptation of Austen’s 1813 novel ahead of its December debut.
Emma Corrin leads the series as Elizabeth “Lizzy” Bennet opposite Jack Lowden as Fitzwilliam Darcy, with Olivia Colman and Rufus Sewell playing Mrs. and Mr. Bennet. Freya Mavor stars as Jane Bennet, while Daryl McCormack plays Charles Bingley.

The new photos introduce much of the Bennet family and several of the characters whose romances, rivalries and misunderstandings drive Austen’s story.
Alongside Corrin, Colman, Sewell and Mavor, the Bennet family includes Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, Hopey Parish as Mary Bennet and Hollie Avery as Kitty Bennet.
Jack Lowden takes on one of literature’s most famous romantic leads as Fitzwilliam Darcy, while Daryl McCormack plays Charles Bingley, Jamie Demetriou appears as Mr. Collins and Louis Partridge stars as George Wickham.
The wider ensemble also includes Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourgh, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley, Anjana Vasan as Mrs. Gardiner, Sebastian Armesto as Mr. Gardiner, Rosie Cavaliero as Lady Lucas, Saffron Coomber as Mrs. Hurst, James Dryden as Mr. Hurst, Justin Edwards as Sir William Lucas, James Northcote as Colonel Forster, Eloise Webb as Harriet Forster and Isabella Sermon as Georgiana Darcy.

The adaptation consists of six episodes written by bestselling author and screenwriter Dolly Alderton and directed by Euros Lyn, whose credits include Heartstopper.
Alderton and Lyn executive produce alongside Laura Lankester, Will Johnston and Louise Mutter for Lookout Point. Corrin also serves as an executive producer, marking their first executive producer credit, while Lisa Osborne produces.

The newly released photos offer a closer look at the world surrounding Lizzy and Darcy. Jane and Lizzy share a quiet moment together, Kitty and Lydia race across the grounds of Longbourn, Mary sits at the piano, and individual portraits introduce Darcy, Bingley, Mr. Collins and Wickham.
Olivia Colman’s Mrs. Bennet and Rufus Sewell’s Mr. Bennet also get their own first looks, providing an early glimpse at the parents presiding over the five Bennet sisters and their increasingly complicated romantic prospects.
