Peacock is heading into September 2026 with a new lineup of TV premieres, returning favorites, movies, live sports and more, led by the return of The Paper and the debut of NBC’s new drama Line of Fire.
The Paper Season 2 returns September 9, with all episodes of the Peacock Original arriving at once. The mockumentary comedy heads back to the Toledo Truth Teller as Ned Sampson and his unconventional newsroom staff take on another round of stories, workplace chaos and personal drama.
Later in the month, The Traitors: New Blood begins streaming September 18, while Peter Krause returns to network television in Line of Fire, which premieres September 21 on NBC before streaming the following day on Peacock.

The Paper Season 2 — September 9
The staff of the Toledo Truth Teller is back on the job when The Paper returns for Season 2. The comedy, set in the same universe as The Office, stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key and Oscar Nuñez.

The Traitors: New Blood — September 18
Alan Cumming returns to the Scottish Highlands for The Traitors: New Blood, a new installment featuring everyday American civilians entering the castle and taking on the deception, strategy and twists of the competition.
Line of Fire — September 22
Peter Krause stars in NBC’s new thriller Line of Fire, following a family of law enforcement agents whose work across the FBI, U.S. Marshals, Secret Service and Department of Justice puts them at the center of a deadly conspiracy.

From among them he will choose who will play as Traitors and who must survive as Faithful. The Traitors is a nail-biting psychological adventure in which treachery and deceit are the name of the game. Set at an ancient castle deep in the Scottish Highlands, contestants work together on a series of exhilarating missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. Hidden amongst the Faithful are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves. Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors murder the Faithful one by one in a treacherous spree while the Faithful try to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game. If at the end of the game the remaining Faithful contestants have banished all the Traitors, they share the prize fund, but if a Traitor (or Traitors) is still among them, they win all the money.
