LEGO ONE PIECE Trailer Reimagines the Straw Hats Ahead of Netflix Premiere

The Straw Hats are setting sail again — this time one brick at a time.

Netflix has released a new trailer for LEGO ONE PIECE, a two-part animated special that transforms the world of its hit live-action ONE PIECE series into a LEGO adventure ahead of its September premiere.

The special puts Usopp in the storyteller’s chair as he recounts the Straw Hats’ adventures to Tony Tony Chopper. Of course, with Usopp doing the telling, viewers shouldn’t expect every detail of the crew’s journey to be entirely accurate.

The two-part special is designed to offer longtime fans a playful new version of familiar adventures while also giving newcomers another way into the enormous world of ONE PIECE.

What Is LEGO ONE PIECE About?

LEGO ONE PIECE retells events from Seasons 1 and 2 of Netflix’s live-action series from Usopp’s unique perspective.

Usopp recounts the Straw Hats’ adventures to Chopper, taking the newest member of the crew through their journey across the East Blue and into the Grand Line. His reputation for embellishing a story gives the animated special plenty of room to put a comedic spin on familiar moments.

The project was produced in partnership with the LEGO Group, Shueisha and animation studio Atomic Cartoons.

Who Voices the LEGO ONE PIECE Characters?

The live-action Straw Hat crew returns to voice their LEGO counterparts, including Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji and Mikaela Hoover as Tony Tony Chopper.

The broader voice cast also brings back familiar characters from the live-action ONE PIECE universe.

When Does LEGO ONE PIECE Premiere on Netflix?

LEGO ONE PIECE premieres September 29, 2026, exclusively on Netflix. The animated event consists of two parts.

Tom Hyndman serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer, with Chelsea Ker directing both episodes. ONE PIECE creator Eiichiro Oda also serves as an executive producer alongside Jill Wilfert, Keith Malone, Lars Danielsen, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements.
