Here’s what is making noise on Netflix for the week of September 7–13, 2026.
1. The Gentlemen Season 2
9.9 million views | #1 English TV
The Gentlemen has a new seat at the head of the table.
Season 2 climbed from 6.7 million views during its debut week to 9.9 million this week, taking the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s English-language television chart. The surge also sent Season 1 back up the rankings, where it landed at No. 3 with another 5.5 million views.
The second season reunites Theo James and Kaya Scodelario as Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass, expanding their increasingly complicated criminal partnership beyond England as the action moves into Italy.

2. Why Did I Get Married Again?

Tyler Perry’s long-running relationship comedy franchise returned with a huge opening week on Netflix.
Why Did I Get Married Again? debuted at No. 1 on the English-language movie chart with 19.3 million views, giving it the largest audience of any English-language Netflix movie this week.
The third movie reunites Tyler Perry, Jill Scott, Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Sharon Leal, Richard T. Jones and Lamman Rucker as the group gathers in Italy for the destination wedding of Angela and Marcus’ daughter Jasmine. Taraji P. Henson joins the franchise as Roselyn, the mother of Jasmine’s fiancé.
3. The Whisper Man
12.7 million views | #2 English Movie
The Whisper Man came back to earth after its enormous 33.4 million-view debut, but the crime thriller remains one of Netflix’s biggest movies.
The adaptation of Alex North’s novel collected another 12.7 million views in its second week, finishing behind only Why Did I Get Married Again? on the English-language movie chart.
Adam Scott stars as widowed father Tom Kennedy, whose son disappears as frightening connections emerge to an imprisoned serial killer known as the Whisper Man. Michelle Monaghan, Robert De Niro and Hamish Linklater also star.

4. Death of the Pastor’s Wife
6 million views | #2 English TV
Death of the Pastor’s Wife continues to draw a sizable audience after leading Netflix’s English television chart last week.
The three-part true-crime docuseries added another 6 million views, dropping only one position to No. 2.
The series examines the life and death of South Carolina worship leader Mica Miller, including her marriage to pastor John-Paul Miller and allegations of abuse before her death.
5. Gandhari
9.6 million views | #1 Non-English Movie
One of Netflix’s biggest movies this week comes from India.
Gandhari reached No. 1 on the non-English movie chart with 9.6 million views. Taapsee Pannu stars as Bani, a mother who loses her eyesight and whose daughter is kidnapped, sending her on a dangerous search for those responsible.
The Hindi-language action thriller is directed by Devashish Makhija and also stars Ishwak Singh, Mita Vashisht, Swastika Mukherjee, Chhaya Kadam and Jatin Sarna.
6. Crew Girl
5.2 million views | #4 English TV
Crew Girl made an immediate impression during its first week on Netflix.
The young-adult rowing drama debuted at No. 4 among English-language television shows with 5.2 million views.
Miku Martineau stars as Teagan, who becomes the coxswain of her school’s all-boys varsity rowing team and finds herself navigating competition, friendships and a complicated romantic triangle along the way.

7. Turning Point: Generation 9/11
5.9 million views | #3 English Movie
Turning Point: Generation 9/11 grew in its second week, collecting 5.9 million views and moving to No. 3 on Netflix’s English-language movie chart.
The documentary uses firsthand accounts to examine the September 11, 2001 attacks and their aftermath, focusing on how the events shaped the generation that grew up in the world they changed.
Its continued rise comes as the world marks 25 years since the September 11 attacks.
8. The Perfect Lie
4.1 million views | #1 Non-English TV
Dutch thriller The Perfect Lie debuted at No. 1 among Netflix’s non-English television series with 4.1 million views.
Based on Saskia Noort’s bestselling novel The Dinner Club, the seven-episode drama follows four seemingly picture-perfect couples whose relationships begin unraveling after one of the husbands is killed in a house fire.
Loes Haverkort leads the ensemble as Karen, a newcomer to the wealthy group who discovers that the polished lives surrounding her hide plenty of secrets.
9. The Little Things
4.4 million views | #4 English Movie
An older crime thriller is finding a sizable new audience on Netflix.
The Little Things landed at No. 4 among English-language movies with 4.4 million views, another example of Netflix’s ability to send existing films back into the conversation years after their original release.
Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto star in the dark crime thriller about two law-enforcement officers whose pursuit of a suspected serial killer becomes increasingly obsessive.
10. Outer Banks Season 5
2 million views | #10 English TV
The Pogues are still hanging around Netflix’s global Top 10.
Outer Banks Season 5 collected another 2 million views this week, giving the fifth and final season its fourth week in the English-language television Top 10.
The final season brings the Pogues’ original story to its conclusion as John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope and Cleo face the fallout from a devastating loss while being pulled into one last adventure.
