Hannah Berner is entering her matchmaker era at Paramount+.
Paramount+ has announced Making Love, a new reality dating series hosted by the comedian, podcaster and Giggly Squad co-host. The series is scheduled to premiere in early 2027.
The new relationship experiment also comes with some serious reality-TV pedigree: Chris Coelen, the producer behind Love Is Blind and Married at First Sight, is among the executive producers.
What Is Making Love on Paramount+?
Making Love is a new unscripted relationship experiment built around singles searching for the person they’ve always dreamed of finding.
Paramount+ is keeping many of the details about exactly how the dating experiment will work under wraps for now, but says participants will have an opportunity to take their romantic destiny into their own hands.
Berner will guide the singles through the experience, bringing her comedy and pop-culture perspective to the new dating format.
Hannah Berner Will Host Making Love
Berner announced her new hosting gig on Giggly Squad, the podcast she co-created and co-hosts with Paige DeSorbo.
The comedian has continued to expand beyond podcasting in recent years with stand-up specials including None of My Business and We Ride at Dawn, along with her digital series Han on the Street.
Berner and DeSorbo also released How to Giggle: A Guide to Taking Life Less Seriously, which became a New York Times bestseller.
Berner recently completed her 61-city None of My Business tour, including a performance at Carnegie Hall, and is also set to guest star in the upcoming A24 and Peacock drama series Superfakes.
Making Love Comes From the Producer Behind Love Is Blind
Behind the scenes, Making Love comes from Kinetic Content and CEO Chris Coelen, whose reality-TV credits include two of the genre’s biggest relationship franchises: Love Is Blind and Married at First Sight.
Coelen executive produces alongside Kinetic Content President of Television Ally Simpson, Brent Gauches, Lauren Dunlop and Jayson Elmore.
Stefanie Cohen-Williams and Maegan McDonough serve as co-executive producers.
