Apple has released the official trailer for Brothers, a new eight-episode comedy starring McConaughey and Harrelson as fictionalized versions of themselves who discover a decades-old family secret that could completely redefine their relationship.
They might actually be brothers.
Brothers premieres globally Wednesday, September 23, 2026 on Apple TV with its first two episodes, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through November 4.

What Is Brothers About?
Brothers begins after Woody’s daughter’s engagement falls apart, prompting him to pack up his family and head to Austin for an extended stay at Matthew’s ranch.
What starts as a chance for the family to regroup takes a dramatic turn when Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac, accidentally reveals a long-buried secret: Matthew and Woody might actually be brothers.
Woody becomes determined to uncover the truth and turns the ranch upside down in pursuit of answers.
Matthew, meanwhile, has another potentially life-changing development to deal with. He’s considering a run for Governor of Texas, creating an entirely different identity crisis while Woody investigates their possible family connection.
Apple describes the resulting story as one about friendship, family, fame and the increasingly messy line between myth and reality.
