FBI Season 9 Episode 2 photos preview “Omissions,” airing tonight, Monday, October 12, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Missy Peregrym returns as Maggie Bell, who grows closer to her new partner, Isaiah Green (Roland Buck III), while being drawn into secretly helping OA Zidan (Zeeko Zaki).
Jeremy Sisto and John Boyd also return as the team investigates the murder of an undercover NYPD officer outside his daughter’s school. The case initially points toward a drug dealer trying to clear his name, but the investigation uncovers more than one layer of concealment.
An NYPD Officer’s Murder Leads to Cover-Ups
“Omissions” begins with the killing of an undercover officer in front of his daughter’s school. The team investigates a likely suspect, a drug dealer who wants to prove he is not responsible.
As the agents dig further, they discover additional cover-ups. The premise makes the suspect’s account an important part of the investigation: the team must determine what has been withheld as it works toward the truth behind the officer’s death.
The episode follows the Season 9 opener, “Rendition.” Revisit our FBI premiere photos for the introduction of Maggie’s new partner and the season’s opening case.
Maggie Bonds With Isaiah—and Secretly Helps OA
Maggie’s partnership with Isaiah Green continues to develop in “Omissions.” After adjusting to the change in the premiere, she begins bonding with the agent now working alongside her.
At the same time, Maggie is pulled into helping OA in secret. CBS has not detailed that request in the episode synopsis, leaving the circumstances and consequences to unfold tonight.
“Omissions” is written by Eduardo Javier Canto and Ryan Maldonado and directed by Michael Kattleman.
