CIA Season 2 Episode 2 photos preview “Dead Drop,” airing tonight, Monday, October 12, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Tom Ellis returns as CIA case officer Colin Glass alongside Nick Gehlfuss as FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman, with a dying Russian spy offering intelligence in exchange for revenge.
Natalee Linez also returns as Gina as the joint task force faces a case involving U.S. assets in Russia. The spy’s information could help the team neutralize a threat, but his cooperation comes with a deeply personal condition.
A Poisoned Spy Makes a Revenge Deal in “Dead Drop”
After being poisoned by his own comrades, a Russian spy offers to help the team protect U.S. assets in Russia. His requested payment is his final wish: revenge against the people who betrayed him.
That bargain gives “Dead Drop” a clear source of tension. The team needs what the spy knows, while he wants to use his remaining time to settle a score. The episode’s premise puts the immediate intelligence threat and his personal agenda into the same negotiation.
“Dead Drop” follows the Season 2 premiere, “The Deep,” which brought the task force into a case involving a cartel fixer. Revisit our CIA Season 2 premiere photos for more from the season’s opening hour.
