DMV Season 1 Episode 6 , titled “Blindspot,” brings more workplace chaos and heartfelt comedy to CBS as Colette faces unexpected heartbreak and Barb launches a full-blown investigation into vandalism at the East Hollywood DMV. The episode airs Monday, Nov. 17 (8:30–9:00 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streams the following day on Paramount+ . Packed with relationship drama, magical motivation, and workplace hijinks, this chapter continues to build the quirky, character-driven humor that defines the new single-camera series.
In “Blindspot,” Colette’s world is shaken when she discovers that Noa — the charming surfer and DMV employee she’s quietly crushing on — is dating someone else. Heartbroken but not defeated, Colette leans on Ceci for emotional support. Never one to sit back, Ceci encourages her best friend to fight for him , and even suggests using magic to tilt fate in Colette’s favor. Whether spiritual signs or comedic chaos follow, viewers can expect Colette’s big heart and bad boundaries to collide in humorous, unpredictable ways.
Meanwhile, the episode introduces a workplace mystery for Barb, who is determined to uncover the culprit behind a wave of childish, inappropriate drawings defacing DMV property. As the newly promoted manager, Barb wants to prove she can lead — but her eagerness often outpaces her instincts. Her pursuit of the vandal turns into a comedic subplot filled with awkward interrogations, misguided clues, and the unique tensions that come with managing a crew that barely wants to be managed at all.
About the Series
DMV is a fresh single-camera comedy set in the one place nearly everyone dreads: the Department of Motor Vehicles. In the East Hollywood DMV office, patience is thin and the stakes are hilariously low — unless you’re one of the underpaid employees trying to survive another day. The series follows a warmly dysfunctional workplace filled with frustrated customers, bizarre requests, and a staff that’s just trying to get through their shift.
The main ensemble includes:
Harriet Dyer as Colette, a driving examiner with a huge heart and questionable boundaries
Tim Meadows as Gregg, a misanthropic former English teacher-turned-DMV employee
Tony Cavalero as Vic, a tough ex-bouncer who enjoys putting bad drivers in their place
Molly Kearney as Barb, the well-meaning but often-mistaken manager
Alex Tarrant as Noa, the office heartthrob and laid-back surfer
Gigi Zumbado as Ceci, a scrappy photographer who always speaks her mind
Together, this quirky crew forms a workplace family — one that’s chaotic, imperfect, and unexpectedly supportive.
Production
The series is produced by CBS Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution. Executive producers include Dana Klein, Matt Kuhn, Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling , and Robyn Meisinger , with Trent O’Donnell executive producing and directing the pilot.
With a mix of heartfelt humor, character-driven storytelling, and relatable workplace absurdity, DMV Season 1 Episode 6 “Blindspot” continues to establish the show as one of CBS’s strongest new comedies.
