Avengers: Endgame is heading back to the big screen.
IMAX has announced that Marvel Studios’ blockbuster will return to theaters as Avengers: Endgame Encore beginning September 25, 2026, with tickets on sale now.
The theatrical return gives Marvel fans another opportunity to experience the epic conclusion to the Infinity Saga on the biggest screen more than seven years after the film’s original release.
Avengers: Endgame Encore Returns September 25
Originally released in 2019, Avengers: Endgame picks up after the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, which saw Thanos wipe out half of all life in the universe.
With the surviving heroes struggling to move forward, the Avengers eventually reunite for one final attempt to undo the damage and bring back those they lost, culminating in the massive battle against Thanos that closed out Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga.
The film was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, with music composed by Alan Silvestri.
Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner lead the ensemble cast alongside Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin.
The new Avengers: Endgame Encore release is rated PG-13 and is listed with a runtime of 185 minutes.
