Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day continued its blockbuster run at the domestic box office this weekend, holding onto the No. 1 spot with an estimated $70 million.
The Sony and Marvel release dropped 51% from the previous weekend across 4,539 theaters, bringing its domestic total to a massive $785.8 million. Holland stars alongside Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo.
But Spider-Man wasn’t the weekend’s only major story. Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey continued showing impressive staying power in second place, while Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor’s The End of Oak Street opened at No. 3.
1. Spider-Man: Brand New Day — $70 Million
Tom Holland’s latest outing as Peter Parker remained firmly in control of the box office with $70 million for the weekend.
Despite a 51% second-weekend decline, Brand New Day has now reached approximately $785.8 million domestically, giving Sony another enormous Spider-Man hit.
The film reunites Holland with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon while adding Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo to the cast.

2. The Odyssey — $23.2 Million
Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey continued its remarkable theatrical run with another $23.2 million, falling just 27% from the previous weekend.
The Universal release has now accumulated approximately $504.7 million domestically, crossing the half-billion-dollar mark while remaining in second place.

3. The End of Oak Street — $21 Million
Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor entered the weekend box-office race at No. 3 as The End of Oak Street opened with $21 million from 3,446 theaters.
Written and directed by David Robert Mitchell and produced by J.J. Abrams, the Warner Bros. release follows a suburban family whose neighborhood is suddenly transported somewhere very different—and considerably more prehistoric. Hathaway and McGregor star alongside Maisy Stella and Christian Convery.

4. PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie — $20.5 Million
PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie was close behind at No. 4, opening with an estimated $20.5 million from 3,545 theaters.
The Paramount release averaged approximately $5,783 per theater, giving families another major theatrical option during the final stretch of the summer movie season.

5. KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS — $4 Million
Global girl group KATSEYE rounded out the Top 5 with KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, which earned just over $4 millionfrom only 724 theaters.
That gives the limited theatrical release an impressive $5,533 per-theater average.
Directed by Nadia Hallgren, WILD HEARTS combines never-before-seen footage, fan videos and intimate interviews chronicling KATSEYE’s rise from Dream Academy to global pop success. The special theatrical release arrived ahead of the group’s third EP, WILD.
