Bluey and Bingo are officially heading to the big screen.
The first teaser trailer for The Bluey Movie has arrived, giving fans their first look at the beloved Heeler family’s jump from television to theaters in an all-new CG-animated adventure.
The teaser and first poster were unveiled following a reveal at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, offering families around the world an early glimpse at what Bluey’s first feature-length adventure will look like when it arrives in 2027.

While the teaser is only our first taste of the movie, it marks a major milestone for a franchise that has grown from an Australian children’s series into a worldwide phenomenon.
The Bluey Movie will bring Bluey, Bingo and their family to theaters for the first time, expanding the world of the Emmy- and BAFTA-winning series into a theatrical CG-animated adventure.
Who Is Making The Bluey Movie?
The movie comes directly from Bluey creator Joe Brumm, who is writing and directing the film.
Ludo Studio, the Australian animation company behind the television series, is producing The Bluey Movie in collaboration with BBC Studios, with Walt Disney Studios handling theatrical distribution.
Brumm’s involvement should be particularly welcome news for longtime fans. Rather than simply expanding the Blueybrand into a theatrical movie, the feature will continue under the creative direction of the person who created Bluey and her family in the first place.
When Does The Bluey Movie Come Out?
Families have a little while to wait before Bluey and Bingo make their theatrical debut.
The Bluey Movie opens exclusively in theaters August 6, 2027.
