“Van Helsing” reimagines the timeless Dracula brand with the resurrection of Vanessa Helsing, a descendent of the Van Helsing lineage of warriors who now must lead mankind against a world controlled by vampires in the post-Rising landscape. Starring Kelly Overton (“True Blood”), Jonathan Scarfe (“Hell on Wheels”), Christopher Heyerdahl (“Sanctuary,” “True Blood”), Paul Johansson (“One Tree Hill”), David Cubbit “(“Medium”), Vincent Gale (“Bates Motel”) and Tim Guinee (“Homeland”), “Van Helsing”, from Nomadic Pictures (“Fargo,” “Hell On Wheels”) will debut on Syfy for a 13-episode run.
“Van Helsing” is produced by Nomadic Pictures, which also serves as the studio. The series is executive produced by Chad Oakes and Mike Frislev from Nomadic Pictures, Showrunner Neil LaBute, Simon Barry (“Continuum”), Evan Tyler, Dave Brown, Zadoc Angell, and Daniel March.
