One of Jim Carrey’s most memorable and divisive comedies is getting the deluxe treatment. To celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary, THE CABLE GUY arrives on 4K Ultra HD Disc October 6 in a new Limited Edition SteelBook release. Directed by Ben Stiller and starring Jim Carrey, Matthew Broderick, Leslie Mann, Jack Black, and Owen Wilson, the dark comedy has grown into a cult favorite since its 1996 theatrical debut. The anniversary release gives fans a chance to revisit Carrey’s unforgettable performance as the eccentric cable installer Chip Douglas, whose idea of friendship quickly spirals into obsession, chaos, and some of the most quotable moments of the decade.
