The Blacklist Season 1 Episode 20, “The Kingmaker,” originally aired April 28, 2014 on NBC. The episode stars James Spader as Raymond “Red” Reddington and Megan Boone as Elizabeth Keen, with Linus Roache guest starring as the mysterious strategist known as The Kingmaker.
After a politician in Prague is framed for murder, Red suspects The Kingmaker is responsible. The elusive strategist has built a reputation helping some of the world’s most powerful political figures rise to prominence, bringing Red, Liz and the FBI into the hunt for their latest Blacklister.
At the same time, Liz continues digging into the secrets surrounding Red and discovers something he has been keeping from her. Diego Klattenhoff stars as Donald Ressler, Ryan Eggold as Tom Keen, Harry Lennix as Harold Cooper and Parminder Nagra as Meera Malik.
“The Kingmaker” was written by J.R. Orci and Lukas Reiter and directed by Karen Gaviola.
