The Amazing Race Season 39 Episode 1 photos preview “Sorry Guys, We Used Our Express Pass,” the first half of a two-night CBS premiere. Host Phil Keoghan welcomes the racers to Vancouver and immediately reveals a twist: for the first time in the show’s history, 13 Express Passes are in play.
That gives the teams a new strategic decision from the start of the race. An Express Pass can help a team get past a challenge, but with so many available this season, the racers will have to consider when using one offers the greatest advantage.
Two-Night Season 39 Premiere Part one of the premiere airs Wednesday, September 30, from 9:30–11:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Part two follows Thursday, October 1, from 9:30–11:00 p.m. ET/PT .
