The story follows a successful but lonely attorney who mistakenly receives an emotional DVD recorded by a dying woman for her husband. With only the clues on the disc to guide her, the attorney sets out to find the man for whom the message was intended.
Netflix has announced Lohan and Golding as the film’s leads but has not yet confirmed their character names or shared further details about how the romance unfolds.
Lindsay Lohan Reunites With Mark Waters
Waters directed Lohan in two of her most recognizable films, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. He has since directed the Netflix romances He’s All That, Mother of the Bride and La Dolce Villa.
Return to You continues Lohan’s run of Netflix romance films, which includes Falling for Christmas, Irish Wish and Our Little Secret. Lohan is also producing the new film alongside Brad Krevoy. Eric Champnella wrote the screenplay, while Olivia Krevoy, Jimmy Townsend and Galen Fletcher serve as executive producers.
