The enormously popular Unity Days convention returns for its second year in 2018 to celebrate Season 5 of THE 100, and fans across the globe are invited to celebrate with them. Link: http://www.unityeventscanada.com/ The star-studded lineup from THE 100 includes cast members: Eliza Taylor, Lindsey Morgan, Tasya Teles, Zach McGowan, Sachin Sahel, and Nadia Hilker — with two unannounced special guests to be revealed.
Hosted again at the Pinnacle Hotel (Link: http://www.unityeventscanada.com/unitydays/venue/) next to Vancouver’s Coal Harbour, fans can book accommodations at a special weekend rate. The hotel is easy walking distance to the downtown Vancouver area and waterfront, and offers free shuttle service to popular local destinations. Vancouver is also home to THE 100, where the show will be filming Season 5 through January 2018. So fans will certainly want to see the sights and locations where the show has filmed some of the popular outdoor scenes, including for the City of Light.
The 2-day Unity Days event is a wonderful way to connect with fellow fans who have travelled far and wide, as well as take advantage of exclusive photo, autograph, and VIP meet-and-greets with the show stars. Set up to allow ample time between schedule Q&A panels and the photo/autograph opportunities, fans will be able to participate in everything their heart desires. (Breakdown of the fees can be found at: http://www.unityeventscanada.com/unitydays/passes/)
The Unity Days team is comprised of returning founders and organizers Leana Santos, Miah Bannerman, along with their devoted Unity Days crew of Shayne Bannerman, Linda Suurhoff, Colin and Melissa Christensen — all have contributed countless hours of behind-the-scenes strategic planning, coordination, and set up of the event to ensure that fans and guests have an extraordinary experience. While the Unity Days 2018 panels have not yet been announced, one that can be shared is THE 100 Reviewers’ Panel, which will be comprised of fan-favorite reviewers Selina Wilken, Yana Grebenyuk and myself to share our perspectives on writing about the show we all so passionately love and how it inspires us to engage with the fans and share in the social media world as it continues to expand with each new season of the show.
Also just announced is returning favorite Jo Garfein, co-founder and executive director of Cancer Gets LOST, who will moderate the actor Q&A panels. More about Cancer Gets LOST can be found at: http://cancergetslost.org/
As a special treat, Cancer Gets LOST (CGL) is hosting a silent charity auction featuring all THE 100 items on Friday, January 19th at Unity Days 2018.
Unity Days 2018 is the perfect chance to mingle with the stars and get to know your fellow devoted fans of THE 100 in a setting set up for sharing mutual appreciations of characters, stories and all that goes into making THE 100 not only a delight to watch, but all an incredible fan-immersive experience.
With Season 5 scheduled to premiere sometime in early 2018, the Unity Days 2018 convention is timed-perfectly to find out a few teasers and hints about what Season 5 will reveal from stars Eliza Taylor, Lindsey Morgan, Sachin Sachel, Tasya Teles on how their characters fared in the bunker, in space and on the surface after Praimfaya. It is also the perfect time to reminisce with Zach McGowan and Nadia Hilker about that epic Season 4 conclave in episode 410 “Die All, Die Merrily” and whether there is even a remote possibility that Roan could have survived Luna’s death-by-strangulation in a pool of black rain attack. Just imagine all the behind-the-scenes tales they can tell and what they might be able to reveal about Season 5…
Unity Days 2018 is guaranteed to be a once in a lifetime experience. Take a chance and come join in the fun. See you there!
