Sterling Point is officially heading back to the island.
Prime Video has renewed Sterling Point for Season 2, just over two weeks after the drama made its debut on August 5. The second season will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The eight-episode first season follows 17-year-old Annie Jacobson, played by Ella Rubin, whose life changes dramatically when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada.
What begins as an unexpected inheritance soon introduces Annie to new friendships, budding romances and family secrets that reshape everything she thought she knew.
Prime Video says the series quickly became one of its top shows following its August 5 premiere.
Sterling Point Season 2 Is Official
The quick renewal means viewers won’t be left wondering whether Annie’s story will continue.
“It’s been an absolute joy to see the appreciation and love for the show,” creator, co-showrunner and executive producer Megan Park said in announcing the renewal.
Park added that the creative team is eager to dive deeper into the characters when the series returns.
Co-showrunners and executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage also celebrated the response to the first season alongside LuckyChap executive producers Tom Ackerley and Dani Gorin.
The team will return to Muskoka for Season 2, where Annie, Ramona and the rest of the characters will continue their stories.

Sterling Point Has Found an Audience on Prime Video
Prime Video’s decision comes after a strong early response to the first season.
Amazon MGM Studios says Sterling Point has captivated millions of viewers around the world since its debut.
The series has also earned a strong critical reception. In its August 20 renewal announcement, Prime Video noted that Season 1 was Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a 90% critics score.
We were equally impressed with the series. In our Sterling Point Season 1 review, we gave the drama a 9.2/10, praising its emotionally grounded performances, authentic storytelling and Megan Park’s confident creative vision.
That combination of audience interest and critical response has given Prime Video enough confidence to send the series back to the island for another season less than three weeks after its premiere.
