Netflix, the world’s leading internet entertainment service, announced today that the anticipated original series, La Casa de las Flores, created and directed by Manolo Caro, is set to debut August 10th. The upcoming dark comedy will feature thirteen 30-minute episodes and will be available to Netflix members around the world.
Manolo Caro’s interest for eccentric characters, led to the creation of Veronica Castro’s (The rich also cry, Rosa Salvaje) unique role, a part very different from anything she has ever played before in her artistic career. In addition, the show includes the brilliant performances of Aislinn Derbez (A la Mala, Win it All) and Cecilia Suárez (Capadocia, Tales of an Immoral Couple), achieving an idyllic yet complicated story where nothing is what it seems.

About the series:
La Casa de las Flores revolves around a seemingly successful and idyllic family-run flower business full of dysfunctional secrets. One day, the patriarch finds out his longtime mistress has suddenly passed away and he decides to bring their children into the household alongside his current wife and family who didn’t know they existed. The series explores the need to protect and forgive loved ones, no matter how uncomfortable.
