Neagley has been renewed for Season 2 at Prime Video. The Reacher spinoff, led by Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, earned its renewal just over two weeks after its eight-episode first season premiered on September 16.
Amazon says Neagley drew 40 million viewers globally during its first 13 days. The announcement follows Prime Video’s recent renewal of Reacher for Season 6, giving both series another chapter.
What Is Neagley About?
Sten reprises the role she established on Reacher, this time taking the lead as Neagley investigates the suspicious death of a friend from her past. The Chicago-set case gives the former military investigator a mystery of her own while retaining her connection to Jack Reacher’s world. Alan Ritchson appears as Reacher during the first season.
In our spoiler-light Neagley Season 1 review, we found that Sten makes a compelling lead, particularly when the series lets Neagley’s personal history carry as much weight as the investigation.
When Will Neagley Season 2 Premiere?
Prime Video has not announced a Season 2 premiere date, episode count or story details. The renewal confirms that Neagley’s story will continue, but it is too early to say which other first-season characters will return or whether Ritchson will appear again.
Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton created the spinoff. Santora also developed Reacher for television, providing a creative link between the two shows as Prime Video continues to expand the franchise.
All eight episodes of Neagley Season 1 are streaming on Prime Video. We’ll update this story when the streamer announces more about Season 2.
