In this thrilling continuation of the decades-spanning NCIS crossover, a sudden prison break by an inmate with just three weeks left in his sentence forces the NCIS team to revisit a long-dormant investigation. The escaped prisoner’s past ties unravel into the mysterious death of a naval officer originally investigated by Gibbs and Mike Franks in the 1990s. As the team digs into the case, they enlist retired special agent Vera Strickland (Roma Maffia), whose history with Gibbs offers new insights and long-buried truths.

Meanwhile, tensions rise back at HQ as the team debates what should go inside a special Navy time capsule, with differing views on how best to represent the past, honor the present, and preserve NCIS history for the future.

Series Overview

The legendary CBS drama NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) continues to explore the complex and often emotional challenges of high-stakes federal investigations. Led by Special Agent Alden Parker, the team includes longtime favorite Timothy McGee, undercover specialist Nick Torres, fearless REACT agent Jessica Knight, medical examiner Jimmy Palmer, and forensic scientist Kasie Hines, all under the leadership of Director Leon Vance.
