NCIS Origins returns with a major event episode as Season 2 Episode 5, titled “Funny How Time Slips Away,” kicks off the first part of the highly anticipated NCIS crossover. The episode airs Tuesday, Nov. 11 (8:00–9:00 PM ET/PT) on CBS and streams next day on Paramount+ for all subscribers.

This week, a mysterious 1990s death of a naval officer sends a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Austin Stowell) and the NCIS Camp Pendleton team deep into the dust-blown desert town of Serenity, California. As they investigate the eerie and tightly controlled community, they encounter residents with dangerous secrets, a sheriff who refuses to cooperate, and a case that will echo across decades.

Adding to the excitement, Mark Harmon returns as Gibbs in a special guest appearance, bridging the past and present of the NCIS universe. His narration continues to anchor the Origins storyline while this episode sets up the high-stakes crossover that culminates on NCIS later in the night.
