NCIS: Origins Season 3 Episode 4 photos preview “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” airing tonight, Tuesday, October 27, from 10:00–11:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Emily Wickersham returns as Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop, joining the present-day story featuring Mark Harmon’s Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
Austin Stowell plays the younger Gibbs in the earlier timeline, alongside Kyle Schmid’s Mike Franks and Mariel Molino’s Lala Dominguez. Tonight’s episode moves the team’s case to 1993 while the older Gibbs revisits a place with personal significance.
Emily Wickersham Returns as Ellie Bishop
Although Bishop is not named in the episode’s short official synopsis, the released photos confirm Wickersham’s appearance. Her return brings another familiar NCIS character into the present-day storyline with Harmon.
CBS’s synopsis describes Gibbs returning to a place full of memories and discovering that he is not alone. The photos give fans a reunion to anticipate without revealing the full conversation or how Bishop’s involvement develops.
What Is “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” About?
In 1993, the team steps in when a general’s rebellious teenage son becomes the target of a dangerous former gang member. The assignment puts protecting the teenager at the center of the earlier storyline.
The episode pairs that threat with Gibbs’ present-day return to familiar surroundings. The official preview leaves the circumstances behind the teenager’s predicament and the outcome of the intervention unrevealed.
