NCIS: New York Season 1 Episode 4 photos preview “Homecoming,” airing tonight, Tuesday, October 27, from 9:00–10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. A deadly armored truck robbery sends the team searching for a sniper, with the investigation taking Sam Hanna back to his old neighborhood in Queens.
LL COOL J stars as Sam alongside Scott Caan as Nick Schaeffer. The ensemble also includes Jennifer Beals, Jacqueline Byers, Shane Harper and Devin Druid as the New York field office takes on its latest case.
What Is “Homecoming” About?
The attack occurs at the Naval Corps Credit Union, setting the agents on the trail of the sniper responsible. As they investigate, they encounter a group of veterans who have fallen through the cracks.
That trail brings Sam and Nick to familiar territory for Sam. Returning to Queens gives the case a personal connection to his life in New York, linking the search for the shooter with the neighborhood he once called home.
The official preview leaves the sniper’s identity and motive unrevealed. It establishes the veterans’ connection to the investigation without explaining the part any individual plays in the robbery.
“Homecoming” follows “Carousel,” which centered on the abduction of a prosecutor’s children. Revisit our Season 1 Episode 3 photos for the previous preview.
