NCIS: Origins Season 3 Episode 2 photos preview “My Own Worst Enemy,” airing tonight, Tuesday, October 13, from 10:00–11:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Mark Harmon returns as present-day Gibbs, who heads back to civilization and calls in a favor from old friend Woody (Bobby Moynihan).
In the 1992 storyline, the team comes together to help Woody when he is accused of murdering a bowling rival. Austin Stowell plays the younger Gibbs alongside Kyle Schmid as Mike Franks and Mariel Molino as Lala Dominguez.
Executive producer Sean Harmon also guest stars in the episode as FBI agent Casey Bloom.
Gibbs Calls on Woody in the Present
“My Own Worst Enemy” places Gibbs and Woody’s friendship at the center of both timelines. In the present, Gibbs is the one seeking help. In 1992, Woody’s murder accusation brings the team to his side.
The two stories connect an old friendship with a new request, while the earlier case asks the team to investigate the death of Woody’s bowling rival. The episode synopsis leaves the details of Gibbs’s favor and the truth behind the accusation unresolved.
“My Own Worst Enemy” is written by Laura Valdivia and directed by Jessica Lowrey.
