Lioness Season 3 continues Sunday, September 6 with Episode 6, “Sugar Land,” as the fallout from the discovery of the hidden network pushes Joe and her team deeper into the threat surrounding them.
After “The Idiot Army” exposed just how far the conspiracy reaches, the Lioness Season 3 Episode 6 promo offers the first look at what comes next. Joe (Zoe Saldaña) remains at the center of the escalating operation, while the newly released photos also bring Edwin Mullins (Morgan Freeman) back into the picture.
The official synopsis for “Sugar Land” teases another difficult turn for the McNamara family: Neal tries to hold the family steady as Kaitlyn, Kyle and the team work to decode clues through a hidden network.
That puts the episode in an interesting position following the events of Episode 5. Joe’s investigation is increasingly colliding with the people and institutions around her, while the pressure at home continues to build.
Lioness Season 3 Episode 6 Promo
The “Sugar Land” promo picks up immediately after the discoveries made in “The Idiot Army,” with the team now facing the consequences of uncovering a network that appears to extend well beyond the original operation.
With only three episodes remaining in Season 3, Episode 6 could prove pivotal as the various pieces of the season’s conspiracy begin moving toward the endgame.

Lioness Season 3 Episode 6 Photos
Paramount+ has released the first two official photos from “Sugar Land.”
One image features Joe alongside her daughters Kate (Hannah Love Lanier) and Charlie (Celestina Harris), putting the McNamara family back in focus as Neal attempts to keep things together at home.
The second brings Joe together with Secretary of State Edwin Mullins (Morgan Freeman), suggesting the widening investigation will once again reach the highest levels of government.
Additional photos will be added if Paramount+ releases more ahead of the episode.

Lioness Season 3 Episode 6, “Sugar Land,” premieres Sunday, September 6, streaming exclusively on Paramount+.
Season 3 consists of eight episodes, with new installments streaming every Sunday. That leaves just two episodes after “Sugar Land,” with the Season 3 finale scheduled for September 20.
