Line Of Fire turns up the pressure in Season 1 Episode 2, “A Bigger Picture,” when a bank heist turns deadly and sends the Hollingsworth family’s different law-enforcement worlds crashing into each other.
Jane Hollingsworth (Hope Davis) and her U.S. Marshals colleagues are determined to bring down the fugitive at the center of the case, but the FBI has its own priorities—and the clash puts Jane directly opposite Clare (Kat Cunning). It is an early reminder that the family may share a mission to protect people, but not necessarily the same rules for getting the job done.
Elsewhere, Micah (Tommy O’Brien) continues settling into work with his father Mike (Peter Krause) in the Secret Service while trying to keep a forbidden relationship out of sight. With a violent case in motion and plenty of pressure close to home, “A Bigger Picture” gives the new drama another chance to test the personal fault lines behind the badge.
