In the Halloween-themed thriller “Ick, a Bod,” the latest episode of Elsbeth (Season 3, Episode 4), the ever-inventive attorney Elsbeth Tascioni must wade through a suburban showdown where trick or treat takes a sinister turn.
A house-wife (portrayed by Annaleigh Ashford) locks horns with her new neighbour in a rivalry that climaxes in ghoulish fashion. Meanwhile, her boss, Captain C.W. Wagner (played by Wendell Pierce), makes a disturbing discovery about his daughter, tying personal stakes into the precinct’s latest case.
Written by Erica Larson and directed by Lionel Coleman, the episode is executive-produced by a formidable team: Robert King, Michelle King, Jonathan Tolins (showrunner), Liz Glotzer, Erica Shelton Kodish, Bryan Goluboff and Gail Barringer.
Emmy Award-winner Carrie Preston returns as Elsbeth Tascioni—the cunning yet unconventional consent-decree attorney collaborating with the NYPD to tackle New York’s elite murder cases through her unique, intuitive insight. The show enters its third season with fresh cases, new characters and unexpected challenges for Elsbeth and the 11th Precinct. Elsbeth is rooted in the universe of The Good Wife and The Good Fight.
