Facebook Watch Announces THE TATTOO SHOP

New docu-series The Tattoo Shop comes to Facebook Watch, premiering Thursday, March 15. The boys of Miami and NY Ink have reunited for an eight-episode series on Facebook Watch. The Tattoo Shop follows renowned tattoo artists Ami James (Miami Ink, NY Ink), Chris Nunez (Ink Master, Miami Ink), Chris Garver (Miami Ink), Darren Brass (Miami Ink) and Tommy Montoya (NY Ink), as they open their new tattoo shop, Liberty City Tattoo, in Wynwood Miami. In addition to The Tattoo Shop and also debuting on this show page, “Mystery Tattoo”, premiering on March 16, is a Live show on Facebook Watch that showcases the interactive ways the Facebook community becomes a part of the show in real time.

Facebook Watch is set to premiere eight-episode docu-series “The Tattoo Shop” following renowned tattoo artists Ami James (Miami Ink, NY Ink), Chris Nunez (Ink Master, Miami Ink), Chris Garver (Miami Ink), Darren Brass (Miami Ink) and Tommy Montoya (NY Ink), as they open their new tattoo shop, Liberty City Tattoo, in Wynwood Miami. Kicking off March 15, “The Tattoo Shop” episodes, available Thursdays, will take viewers behind the lives of both the artists and the clients of Liberty City Tattoo. The series showcases the incredible talent of these tattoo pioneers as they push visual boundaries while dipping into the next generation of up and coming tattoo artists.

“The Tattoo Shop” Episode One: In the premiere episode, Ami, Garver, Nunez, Darren and Tommy reunite to open the brand-new shop in Wynwood, Miami. Tommy´s old friend and tattoo aficionado David Prieto heads to the shop to add to his collection of over 150 tattoos, Olympian Inika McPherson stops by to visit Chris Nunez and guest artist Oskar Åkermo breaks out the psychedelic designs.

“Mystery Tattoo”: On Friday nights, starting March 16 at 9pmET/ 6pmPT on “The Tattoo Shop” show page, viewers will become a part of weekly Live episodes, with an interactive tattoo experience on “Mystery Tattoo”. Each week, one client who is either willing or crazy enough, agrees to get a tattoo, chosen by the Facebook viewers. Fans will engage and interact, in real-time, voting on everything from the design, to the body part the tattoo will go on, while the raucous atmosphere of the Miami shop comes to life. At the end of the episode, one person will walk away with a permanent souvenir…that they may even like.

“Street Stories”: On Monday, March 19, “The Tattoo Shop” show page will release a weekly showcase of “Street Stories,” a one-of-a-kind, man-on-the-street concept where people share their tattoos and the stories behind them.
