DUTTON RANCH is officially a monster hit for Paramount+.
The new Taylor Sheridan universe expansion has become the biggest original series launch in Paramount+ history, pulling in an impressive 12.9 million global views in its first seven days following its premiere. The breakout performance gives Paramount+ another major franchise win and confirms that audiences remain fully invested in the ever-expanding world surrounding the Dutton family.
The momentum isn’t limited to Paramount+.
According to preliminary Nielsen data, DUTTON RANCH also ranked as the #1 streaming series for the week of May 11 based on average audience, a major achievement in an increasingly crowded streaming landscape.
The series also delivered huge numbers on linear television.
Its two-episode premiere on Paramount Network drew 2.9 million total viewers, including 1.9 million viewers for the first episode alone, making it the biggest cable series premiere since 2023. The Yellowstone spinoff also ranked as the #1 cable entertainment telecast of the day among adults 18-49 and total viewers, showing the franchise still has serious crossover power beyond streaming.
Critics have responded positively as well.
DUTTON RANCH currently holds a Certified Fresh 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with early reviews praising the show’s energy, tone, and willingness to carve out its own identity within the Sheridan ecosystem.
The launch has also exploded across social media.
Paramount says the campaign generated 99 million video views and more than 2 million social engagements within the first three days, making it the biggest Paramount+ premiere launch across the platform’s owned social channels.
Even the music is benefiting from the buzz.
After being featured in the teaser campaign and official trailer, Eminem’s “Till I Collapse” experienced a major resurgence, climbing to a new all-time peak at No. 3 on Billboard’s Rap Digital Song Sales chart, more than two decades after its original release.
The success continues Taylor Sheridan’s remarkable winning streak for Paramount.

For Paramount+, DUTTON RANCH isn’t just another successful spinoff.
It’s the latest proof that the Sheridan television empire is still one of the most powerful brands in entertainment.
