Criminal Minds Season 9 Episode 3, “Final Shot,” sends the BAU to Dallas after a sniper opens fire in a crowded plaza. The team initially considers whether the attack could be connected to the approaching 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, but the investigation soon points toward another motive.
As Hotch and the BAU examine the shooting, they begin trying to determine whether the victims were randomly selected or whether the sniper was concealing a specific target among the casualties. This episode of Criminal Minds also features Eva LaRue as FBI Agent Tanya Mays, who assists the team with the investigation.
“Final Shot” stars Thomas Gibson as Aaron Hotchner, Joe Mantegna as David Rossi, Shemar Moore as Derek Morgan, Matthew Gray Gubler as Spencer Reid, A.J. Cook as Jennifer Jareau, Kirsten Vangsness as Penelope Garcia and Jeanne Tripplehorn as Alex Blake. Guest stars include Eva LaRue and Mike Colter.
