ABC’s Castle closed its fifth season with one of the series’ most emotional cliffhangers in Season 5 Episode 24 (S5E24 / 5×24), “Watershed.” Originally airing on May 13, 2013, the season finale follows Richard Castle and Kate Beckett as they investigate the mysterious death of a young woman whose body is discovered inside the rooftop water tank of a rundown apartment building.
