Four titles entered the Top 5 this weekend. Heart of the Beast opened in third place with $20 million, followed by Primetime with $19.198 million and Forgotten Island with $12.8 million. Together, the five films earned just over $101 million for the weekend.
1. Avengers Endgame: Encore — $26 Million
Avengers Endgame: Encore led the weekend with $26 million, averaging $8,497 across 3,060 locations. That is a strong return for a theatrical rerelease of a film audiences have been able to revisit for years.
The new presentation gives fans more than another chance to see the 2019 Avengers finale on a big screen. 2. Resident Evil — $23.3 Million
Resident Evil moved to second place with $23.3 million from 3,684 locations. The Sony horror film fell 61% from its $60 million opening, but its domestic total has already reached $103.476 million.

3. Heart of the Beast — $20 Million
Paramount’s Heart of the Beast opened with $20 million from 3,435 locations, an average of $5,822 per theater. The survival drama stars Brad Pitt as James Belmont, a former Special Forces officer stranded in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash with his combat dog, Odin.

4. Primetime — $19.198 Million
