Wuthering Heights is heading to streaming, with Warner Bros. Pictures announcing the film will make its global debut Friday, May 1 exclusively on HBO Max. The film will also premiere on HBO linear Saturday, May 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
A version of Wuthering Heights HBO Max will also be available with American Sign Language (ASL), marking a first for a romance title on the platform. The ASL version features performances by Leila Hanaumi and Giovanni Maucere and is directed by Justin Jackerson.
Directed by Emerald Fennell, Wuthering Heights stars Margot Robbie as Cathy and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, bringing a bold new take to one of literature’s most iconic love stories.
This reimagining of Emily Brontë’s classic novel follows the intense and often destructive relationship between Cathy and Heathcliff, as their forbidden passion evolves into a sweeping tale of love, obsession, and revenge. The film also stars Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell.
