Vote For Or Against New WHITE COLLAR Title Sequence

Change is hard. Just ask Neal Caffrey. Following an enormous outpouring of feedback from fans and viewers when a new WHITE COLLAR main title sequence debuted during season three, USA Network and the series producers have created a poll to give viewers the opportunity to vote on whether to keep the new sequence or revert back to the previous version.

Through the network’s secondary screen platform Character Chatter (www.characterchatter.com), fans can view video of both sequences and register their vote starting Friday, July 8, through Wednesday, July 13 at noon ET. The winning decision will air in the Tuesday, July 19 episode of WHITE COLLAR and remain the main title sequence for the entire third season.

“Where would Neal Caffrey be without a second chance? Our new main title sequence has been hotly debated with opinions covering a broad spectrum,” said series creator and executive producer Jeff Eastin. “We respect the opinions of our fans and we couldn’t think of a better way to reward their dedication than empowering them with this decision.”

“Our Characters Welcome brand philosophy is predicated on the inclusion of everyone – especially our audience,” said Alexandra Shapiro, senior vice president brand marketing and digital for USA. “So when debate ensued among our core WHITE COLLAR fans we decided crowdsourcing was an optimal way to involve our fans in determining the main title sequence’s fate.”

USA will message about the poll to fans through the network’s Character Chatter platform, which harnesses and amplifies the social buzz around the series by funneling in real-time a feed of text, images, and video from all social streams including Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube. The network will feature on-air snipes about the poll in the Tuesday, July 12 episode, and well as information on the WHITE COLLAR website, and call-outs on social outlets including Facebook and Twitter.
