TUBI Enters Exclusive Content Deal With STXfilms

Tubi (www.tubi.tv), a division of FOX Entertainment, today announced it has entered an exclusive content deal with next-generation film studio STXfilms, adding to Tubi’s fast-growing library of more than 30,000 titles. Tubi will have an exclusive free streaming window to such fan favorites as “I Feel Pretty” starring Amy Schumer, the critically acclaimed coming-of-age film “The Edge of Seventeen,” starring Hailee Steinfeld and Woody Harrelson, kids and family movie “UglyDolls,” “Peppermint,” starring Jennifer Garner, and the action heist thriller “Den of Thieves,” featuring Gerard Butler and 50 Cent, among many other new titles coming to the platform.

Additionally, beginning August 1, Tubi will become the exclusive AVOD home to the adventure documentary “Into the Lost Desert,” which follows extreme desert explorer Max Calderan as he crosses the Rub’ al Khali on foot.  This Tubi World Premiere Exclusive from Empty Quarter Studios, executive producer Billy Sprague and director Christopher Cassel, will chronicle an expedition unlike any other, as Calderan braves extreme heat (averaging 117 degrees Fahrenheit), shifting sand dunes towering up to 1000 feet, poisonous snakes, spiders, scorpions, and any number of life-threatening challenges.

Tubi’s deal with STXfilms brings several additional titles to FOX Entertainment’s free streaming service, including “Desierto,” starring Gael Garcia Bernal;  “Free State of Jones,” starring Matthew McConaughey, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mahershala Ali; “Songbird,” produced by Michael Bay; “Hardcore Henry”; “Me You Madness”; “Mile 22,” starring Mark Wahlberg; “Secret in Their Eyes,” starring  Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts; “The Boy”; “The Bye Bye Man”; “The Gift”; and “The Happytime Murders,” starring Melissa McCarthy.
