ABC’s Scandal pushed its fourth-season power struggle to a dangerous new level with Season 4 Episode 8 (S4E8 / 4×08), “The Last Supper.” Originally airing on November 13, 2014, the episode finds Olivia Pope trying to keep Fitz and Jake focused on their shared objective: bringing down Rowan and dismantling Command. While the two men continue clashing over Olivia, she attempts to turn their complicated alliance into a coordinated plan capable of finally exposing the truth behind B613.
Written around several intersecting conspiracies, “The Last Supper” also follows Huck as his desire to reconnect with his family puts him in an increasingly vulnerable position, while Quinn continues investigating the dangerous trail surrounding Kubiak. Inside the White House, Cyrus begins facing the consequences of his relationship with Michael, and Elizabeth North’s hidden agenda proves to be far more ambitious than anyone initially suspected.
