REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER returns Friday, May 29, with a new episode featuring astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, journalist Katy Tur, and former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy. Airing on HBO and streaming on HBO Max, the late-night talk series continues its signature mix of political commentary, news analysis, and cultural discussion.

This week’s episode includes a one-on-one interview with Neil deGrasse Tyson, the acclaimed astrophysicist, director of the Hayden Planetarium, and author of the new book Take Me to Your Leader: Perspectives on Your First Alien Encounter. Tyson joins Maher to discuss science, humanity’s place in the universe, and the possibilities of extraterrestrial life.

The panel discussion features Katy Tur, bestselling author and host of MSNBC’s Katy Tur Reports, alongside Kevin McCarthy, the former Republican congressman from California and the 55th Speaker of the House. Together, they will join Maher for a wide-ranging conversation on the week’s biggest political headlines and current events.
