Real Time with Bill Maher returns with a brand-new episode Friday, August 7, as Maher welcomes Mike Rowe for an in-depth interview before sitting down with journalists Tara Palmeri and Matt Welch for this week’s roundtable discussion.
As always, the episode will feature Maher’s signature opening monologue, a one-on-one interview, lively panel discussion, and the fan-favorite “New Rules” segment, where he offers his unfiltered take on the week’s biggest headlines.
This Week’s Guests
Maher’s featured interview is with Mike Rowe, founder and CEO of the mikeroweWORKS Foundation and host of The Way I Heard It podcast. Rowe is expected to discuss workforce development, skilled trades, and current issues impacting the American labor market.
Joining Maher for the panel are Tara Palmeri, author of The Red Letter on Substack and host of The Tara Palmeri Show podcast, alongside Matt Welch, co-host of The Fifth Column podcast and editor-at-large of Reason Magazine. Together, they’ll tackle the week’s biggest political and cultural stories.
