Real Time With Bill Maher returns Friday, August 14 with another new episode featuring author and podcast host Ryan Holiday for the evening’s one-on-one interview, followed by a panel discussion with former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and political strategist and pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson.

The new episode airs Friday, August 14 from 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET / 7:00-8:00 p.m. PT on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max. As usual, Maher will open the hour with his monologue before moving into the one-on-one interview, roundtable discussion and his signature “New Rules” segment. 

Who Are the Real Time With Bill Maher Guests on August 14?

This week’s one-on-one guest is Ryan Holiday, host of “The Daily Stoic” podcast and the No. 1 New York Timesbestselling author behind “The Stoic Virtues Series.” Holiday’s work focuses heavily on Stoic philosophy and applying its principles to modern life, leadership and decision-making. 

Joining Maher for the week’s panel discussion are Andrew Cuomo and Kristen Soltis Anderson.

Cuomo is the former Democratic Governor of New York, while Anderson is a CNN contributor and the founding partner and pollster at Echelon Insights. With a former governor and a professional pollster sharing the table, the panel should give Maher plenty of room to dig into the week’s political headlines, public opinion and the state of American politics.
